| - As far as Home Depot's go, the one here in Leaside is about average. It's close by my work, so I go here a lot, and I've got no real issues with this particular location.
They have a good selection of items, and pricing is good. So I can usually find what I'm looking for.
The staff are okay. There are two very good floor staff; one of which works in the plumbing department, who is always helping people, and seems to know this is exactly what he is meant to be doing. Another gentleman sometimes sits inside the main entrance and helps guide those asking (who are many!) to their destination. The rest of the staff, by and large, kind of walk around with that "don't make too much eye contact, and only look to help someone if they accost you" look to them. I find this frustrating sometimes; but it's no worse here than in most other places.
The one part of the l process that slightly annoys me is the checkout. This isn't just this location, but all Home Depots. No Tap, extra time spent putting in a job number (or trying not to, which can mean a staff has to help), and answering whether or not you want an emailed receipt. I'm sure these things can be helpful to some, but for most we just want to check out and be on our way, and this takes much longer here than at most stores.
