| - stayed here back in may, and most everything seemed adequate. room was clean, never had issues with parking, but there was just one little thing that rubbed me the wrong way: the staff. for one thing, it's not very professional to be gossiping about friends and colleagues on the clock, especially when there are customers right there on the lobby floor. secondly, there was this tall lanky guy with glasses (nametag said john or joanna, i'll go with joanna) that was around to put the breakfast stuff away as the complimentary breakfast time concluded. he would walk briskly around the place grabbing plates and everything, then dropping them loudly in wherever he placed them. AND he would take things away as people are in the middle of getting food. wth is that. not only that, he audibly tells a colleague he wants to quit and that he found a "better" job right on the lobby floor.
the rest of the staff are ok, i guess. cordial at least, but not a prick like joanna there. who knows, perhaps he had already quit and is no longer there. "joanna" is obviously a millennial and so are the rest of the staff and probably dislike their jobs. well, guess what; that doesn't give the green light to be a piece of shit and treat customers so poorly.
i fall in the millennial category too, but i know how to be professional when on the clock at least.
