  • Five stars because I was not sure what to expect of this place for the price/location, and I was very pleasantly.. relieved. We had a nice drive from Virginia to Chicago for Christmas and decided to stop in Cleveland for an overnight on the way there. Did NOT book in advance. We drove to downtown, sat in a nearby bar and Hotwired the cheapest nearby place we could find. That was this place - $50! !I don't know Cleveland well, but it seemed pretty centrally located and a great deal. It was within walking distance to some of the attractions, had free Wifi, the beds were comfortable, parking was $9 (not cheap by Cleveland standards I discovered, but great for people coming from DC!). Free breakfast w/wafflemaker. We got to our room, had a nice beer and watched TV and enjoyed the comfortable bed and free wifi. I am really trying and failing to come up with complaints, and am quite surprised by the low ratings here. Seriously recommend for those staying in Cleveland. I always worry when places seem "too" cheap but this was clean and nice and no problems. And this was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than the other nearby options. I would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Cleveland.
