  • So.. I'm not sure if I arrived to the drive thru after a hold up, a drug transaction between employees(because they had to be high) or they simply had a horrid case of the "Monday's". All I was trying to do was order a coffee and a donut and it became the most bizarre drive thru experience of my life. After getting to the window and waiting for about 3 minutes looking through the menu, I realized.. hey.. no one has spoken to me.. After a couple of "hellos?" I finally get someone to say, "order when you're ready." Me: Ok." I'd like a iced Carmel latte please." *Silence*... umm hello? " Drive thru attendant: yes? Me: Yes, an iced latte and a vanilla sprinkle donut." Silence again... 30 seconds go by.. me: helloooo???. *hears mumbling in the background. A guy sighing, then saying "ugh oh my God! then silence* By now it's multiple cars in the drive through. Me: excuse me, can you repeat my order because I don't think you got what I said. *silence* Drive thru attendant: you want a coffee? Me: umm yes? Iced please.. Carmel.. medium. Drive thru attendant/Ok ma'am sorry about that, you want an iced...right? Me:an iced what? Did you get the iced Carmel coffee? *silence* Then hears woman employee, talking to male employee about random work stuff/drinks/life and why the sky is blue HELLO?!!!!!!!!!! drive through attendant: "sorry about that, I-" *attendant gets cut off and a I hear another employee come through the speaker.. but she wasn't talking to me.. more like talking to guests inside.. but why is she on the speaker? Me: *OH MY GOD* HELLO? Did you get my order? Drive thru attendant: hello, how may I help you? *speeds off* I can't even deal. I went to Starbucks instead. At least they hear my order on the first try.
