| - We decided to go the Sweet Moses to enjoy some dessert after dinner in the neighborhood. After looking over then menu, I decided on some chocolate, the sea salt caramel and nutella crunch and one of their seven layer bars, instead of ice cream. Going to an ice cream shop and not getting ice cream? Sinful, I know. Therefore my review is based solely on what I had and I can't comment on the ice cream although I kept hearing people say how delicious it was. The chocolate was good, nothing stood out as different than most other chocolate shops. And now for the review...
Pro's
-Love the idea of an olde time soda fountain, jerks and all (bad joke!)
-Variety of offerings, chocolate, ice cream, candies
-Friendly staff despite the chaos of tons of people in the place
Not So Great
-The order setup is confusing, if you want chocolate from the front display case you must walk to the back, pay and then walk back up front to tell them which chocolates you want out of the case
-The de-constructed setup of the place, one side is for ordering and the other side a dining room. After people order they stand around and wait for their treats and which adds to the confusion if you are trying to figure out whose in line and whose just waiting. Plus, I like a little visual stimulation with my dining experiences and all the action happens in the other room while your enjoying your treats in the dining room.
-I'd like to see them expand the menu a bit to include more offerings
If I am in the mood for ice cream I may give it another try one of these days.
