  • There are few things I dread more in life than going dress shopping with my mother. But I can honestly say the staff at White House Black Market made a recent shopping trip a really fun excursion. Mom and I dropped in on a Sunday afternoon to find a dress for her to wear to my step sister's wedding. I was hell bent on preventing her from wearing an awful stereotypical "mother of the bride" dress and I knew that WHBM would have some age and body appropriate dresses for my mom. Dresses can be a little pricey there for my thrifty mother's tastes, but...the sales staff was so warm and encouraging, they were able to make my mom look and feel like a million bucks without actually spending that much. I really appreciated how nice and complimentary everyone was and how they really put my mom at ease and made her look even more beautiful than she already does.
