  • Never, and I mean NEVER, will I be returning to this place. I had one of the worst experiences ever here. I had been before, twice, to get my brows done. Both times I had gone was because my usual salon was unavailable and I had events to go to. The price they charge JUST for brows (11-12$) is ridiculous. Especially for the final result. I could do what they did at home if I had the balls to. Both times they literally took 5 minutes and only waxed. The only reason they plucked (for cleanup) and trimmed some hair was because I asked them to and I'm pretty sure my face had the whole, "WTF?" expression happening. Honestly, I usually do mine for 7$ and they actually put effort into it. My friend went with me the second time and she also got them done and they gave us both the exact same shape. It looked great on her face but horrible on mine. The least they can do is try to give you a shape that compliments your face. Instead they left mine thick and chunky and I was just completely over it at that point. I'm allergic to the aloe gel/lotion they rub over the skin when they're done waxing and both times I reminded them constantly not to put it on. The second time she had told me the keep my eyes closed so I didn't know what she was doing and she ended up rubbing the lotion on one brow before I told her to stop. My brow swelled up and was extremely itchy, red and blotchy for several hours. It only started to come down when I got home and took some allergy medicine and placed an ice gel pack over the area for the swelling. Now, that's not the reason I have vowed to never step foot into this place. I needed to get my gel nails removed and came here because one of my coworkers was doing her Shellac there. I told them to remove the nails and then do Shellac so that they're not extremely fragile and thin. Everything was going fine until she got to my middle finger. I wasn't paying much attention to be honest. I did feel a little too much pressure here and there but I figured it was normal. She was using this small metal tool that looked like a super tiny razor to get between my nail and the gel nail. She would then slide it across in order to pull them apart. So there I am, minding my own business, when I feel a searing pain spike up my middle finger. I literally cried out I was so surprised. When I look back at her she's holding tightly to the tip of my finger where she was removing the nail, but the more pressure she puts the more painful it becomes. I pry her hand off and look at my nail only to realize that she had put so much pressure that her little tool sliced through my real nail and lifted it off my nail bed. She then tried to remove the gel nail (even though its still stuck to my real nail) by pulling on it, and this causes her to rip even more of my nail off my nail bed. At this point I can begin to see a bit of blood and become pissed. She keeps trying to get the tool between my nail and the fake nail that are pulling against my already cut and bleeding skin and even though I'm telling her to stop because it hurts, she keeps on going. She ends up calling over two of the other manicurists because she can't do jack shit about it and the man that works there decides the only way to remove it is to cut the gel nail around that one spot that is still stuck to me and then shave that small area down. If it wasn't for the fact that people were around, I would have probably cried because of the pain. When they finally manage to get it off, she says, "It's best to wait a few weeks for Shellac ok?" To which I reply, "What other choice do I have now?" She then offers to paint all of my other nails except for that one, to which I decline. I was so upset at this point that I just wanted to leave. By the time she's done clipping my nails (I'm missing about 5mm of nail from my middle finger) they ask me to pay. So aside from the fact that they managed to rip almost a third of my nail off my skin and in turn weren't able to do the desired service I asked for, I still had to pay. They didn't even offer me a friggen bandaid for my finger. It took 2 weeks for my nail to grow back over my skin. NEVER AGAIN.
