So I had my first encounter with Crave during the Tempe Festival of Arts this past weekend. My fiance and I were actually on our way to Subway for lunch when we passed this tiny restaurant on Mill that was passing out pita bread and hummus samples. The hummus was so delicious we changed our plans and plopped a seat inside the lounge. It was happy hour so we were able to snag two appetizers for 3 bucks each! The first was the hummus that came with your choice of fried or soft pita bread and the Mediterranean quesidila wihich came with chicken, guacamole, sour cream, and even salsa on the side. Both dishes were light, tasty and fresh. We loved the smooth hummus so much we came back the NEXT DAY (during happy hour of course) and each ordered our own hummus with pita bread. Simply irresistible the second time around. As an added bonus, each time we paid for our bill there was a coupon for 20% of our next order at Crave. This place is great for a ridiculously cheap meal on Mill.
