  • Never been in a theater this hot in my life. Went to a special screening of Tarzan tonight. When I sat down I was sweating. I asked people around me if they were hot. All of them said yeah it is burning up in here. Had to be 80 degrees. Now there can only be 2 reasons it was that hot. 1. The AC is busted. or 2. They are trying to save money by cranking up the AC to 80. Anyway after about 15 mins of not even moving in my seat I was still sweating. I got up and told the Theater Manager. She said it was most likely because of the packed theater. Well that turned out to be a lie. I will get more to that later. Anyway I decided to go get some ice water to cool down. When I was in line getting my water I asked the kid working the concession stand if it was always that hot in there. He laughed and said they set it to around 78 degrees.... I was like WTF. 78.. That is insane for a movie house in a place like Phoenix where people go to the movies to escape the heat. He told me every worker is always hot in that place.. So as it turns out. It wasn't a broken AC. It was Harkins being CHEAP... Never will ever go there again.... I will go to AMC where they crank the AC to 72 or lower. I don't want to think about the heat when I am at the movies... Shame on you Tempe Harkins... You Cheap Son of a B***ches.. And for lying to me and playing games with me.. pffftttt... What a joke.
