Sunday 11/15/2015 I was treating a friend to brunch at Benedict's a quaint cozy place and I have to say it was horrifying. I was so embarrassed! I was speechless. We ordered the California Benedict and the Quiche. The food was cold. The ham and tomatoes seemed to be almost frozen. The avocado was brown and cold - nothing seem fresh. My girlfriend was sweet enough to say it's ok. I just couldn't eat or even think of serving food like this. I told her Benedict's carters and their food is normally fresh. I'm shocked that Benedict's has received great reviews in the past. I told one of the employees the food was cold - if they freeze it - then bake it - answer No. I decided to just try the veggie omelet with ham and my girlfriend ordered the french toast. It was awful! the eggs were way over cooked and brown. The cook forgot the ham - veggies well it was only mushrooms, a couple of zucchinis. Did I mention all the mushrooms and zucchinis were charcol burned! The french toast came out way after I was done eating. I wanted to buy Mexican coffee grinds (bag) to go but they were completely out. I ordered the chocolate croissants but they were out. I didn't really have a choice of desserts since they were out. The manager at Benedict's that Sunday was not doing a very good job of running the place. They need to hire cooks, chefs, be organized, stay stocked up, and be better prepared to be open to the public.
