I always have a good time when I come here. The beer and people run plenty, so you can't complain about that! Chances are you'll probably bump into someone you know. The patio is usually full but it's more fun to squeeze in tight corners where you can. You might even meet strike up a conversation with the people beside you.
This place is a good one to go with a group of friends. Alternatively, you can drunkenly become friends with the group of people sitting at the table next to you. Some people have a dislike for the ever-crowded patio but the vibe of being around scores of other beer-consuming patrons on (for example) a sunny and warm Saturday evening/night is awesome.
The inside part of the pub is extremely dimly lit and it sort of feels like they forgot to turn on the lights. Some people enjoy this. I personally find it a bit TOO dark but if there's enough people inside, it feels 'homey' enough.
Line ups are pretty common, but it's worth the wait if you want to have a good patio experience.
