  • First time through PHX and the rental car center system is a bit odd. The facility is far removed from the terminals so don't cut it close when returning. One superb feature is an advance luggage check-in counter that gives you the chance to dump luggage and not drag it to the terminal when returning. You must be 90 minutes or more in front of your departure to use it though. Dollar with it's typical good performance overall including prepay gas. I had to go to Tucson and back, so I drained the tank. Followed the AZ trip with LAX and got a sweet upgrade to a Buick Verano. Dollar consistently performs and always feels like a value.
