| - Sweet baby Jesus this place is delicious! I've passed it many times because I assumed it was standard Hawaiian like L&L, or Ohana. Nope! It's more like Braddahs which, conveniently, is no longer in the area .
This place is like your standard taco, burrito, rice bowl type restaurant, but with a Hawaiian style twist. The primary meat selections are a kalbi type boneless short rib, chicken, and pork belly.
For lunch, I had the "Notorious R.I.B" burrito which is the marinated short rib meat with rice, Mac salad, and a kimchi slaw. While waiting for my food, they brought out a sample churro. I'm not big on sweets, but it was interesting that it had sort of a coconut sugar on it and some seaweed flakes. A bit sweet for my taste, but I still ate the whole thing.
I also had a fried pork belly appetizer. It comes in a bowl on top of some apple coleslaw type deal. It was really good, but too much food for me at this point. I still ate most of it.
I'll definitely be back once Buffalo is done being torn up.
