  • Have been coming to this park for almost 10 years now. It's a great park if you want to go on for a walk/run/jog. There are different elevations to this path that is very mild, easy-ish...but it makes for a good one a few times around. I used to be cautious about dog poop, but once they built the dog area, my caution level dropped. Glad they added that. Their basketball court is a tad run down, but it serves it's purpose. I feel the same about their tennis court. Their baseball field is probably their most modern feature sports wise. They finally added a bathroom on that end along with a concession stand months ago. The bathroom located by the park feels like it could use some updating. Just note, there are only 2 bathrooms on site. Baseball field and park. If you are there for a soccer or football game, and your child/toddler has to use the bathroom bad...better run because I don't think the distance from the soccer/football fields to the bathroom is potty-training friendly. Well, I suppose it is at it teaches your kid to better hold that bladder! Lol. Through the years the playground definitely goes through its normal wear and tear or out of order signage. But overall, the playground itself is all right. Just wish people would pick their damn trash up! Children play here and it's unpleasant to see trash around that clearly wasn't sent by the wind. They have a circled spot across the playground which once was a merry-go-round...its been gone for several of years and I always wished they'd replace it. But...welcome to North Las Vegas funding so it has been some empty circle. They do have picnic tables with bbq grills for a day out or party. Parking is non-existant especially if there are games going. People park along the sides of the streets from both entrances as an overflow. This isn't a park we will choose to actually drive-to. Usually its a park we go to while on a family walk/bike ride or if I'm waiting for my older 2 to get out of school...I'll take the younger 2 to play. Anyway, the park serves its purpose and I never get that creepy feeling or worried feeling like something crazy is going to go down. Trust, I've been to many parks that has given me such a feeling. I'd say overall, the park is more like a 3.5. It's a great place, though, if you live in the area to get a jog in or to have an active morning/day out. Bike friendly too! Enjoy!
