Decided to stay here for 1 night while I was in Vegas. I remember how nice the resort was the last time I came here on my way to Red Rock Canyon. If you are going to stay here, make sure you park at the East Garage. Otherwise, you will have to trek a long way to the hotel lobby. I made the mistake of parking on the West Garage and had to roll my luggage all the way across the casino floor. It wouldn't be a big deal if all I had was a small bag.
Once you walk into the casino from the East Garage, take the elevator down to the hotel lobby.
This hotel has a pretty good buffet that's pretty cheap compared to the ones on the strip. Make sure you sign up for the players card so you can get a discount off the price of the buffet. Also, I received a couple of coupons and one to them was for a free breakfast/lunch buffet. Plus, there are other coupons for $10 match play and a free tall coffee from Starbucks just to mention a few.
There's also a pretty nice movie theater for those of you who are not into gambling. There's also a big bingo room and a bowling alley. I saw a few $5 tables for those who have the itch, but don't want to lose the house playing.
The one negative I have to give this place is the long walk to your room if you are assigned to one of the rooms at the end of the hall. It felt like I was walking a mile just to get to my room.
The room itself was very nicely appointed. Roomy and big bathroom with a shower and tub. The towels were nice and thick, not like those thin ones from budget motels.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again if I want to stay away from the strip and just want some quite time.
