  • Fail. I go once in a great while here [like once a year]. I called for a 6 foot sub for an event a few days in advance. First off, the respondent was nice although she was clueless what a 6 foot sub [am I that old ?! Subway used to promote these when I was a teenager]. I had to explain to her my situation and what I was looking to order, but she was still a bit clueless. Fortunately, subway has a nice website and listed my options (portions, available toppings, etc) so I told her my order. I asked for a price and confirmation of the order. She didn't know of the price and stated that the manager would call me back later that day with the price and to confirm the order. I never received a call. The next day, I called again, explained the situation, and they said they had no record of the order, the manager wasn't in, and they would call me back again. No surprise that they never called back. I'll avoid from now on. If you're in Old Brooklyn and looking for a sub sandwich, visit Gentile's just down the road, Jimmy John's in Steelyard, or Burt's on Memphis.
