  • Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a company that sells service. I had the unfortunate experience of having my 2 air conditioner units stolen in the middle of summer in Arizona. I had Goettl come out to give me a quote. Their "comfort specialist" came out to do the site visit on a Saturday. The whole next week I still did not receive my quote that I needed for the insurance company. After about 7 or 8 calls (some to office and some to the tech directly) I got a call back stating that they could not fax or email the quote. It had to go in the mail. Of course the whole next week I still did not receive the quote - all the while living in Phoenix in the summer with no A/C. At this time I called a "supervisor" who said she had to call the tech and would have him call me. Which he never did. I called later that day leaving 2 messages for the supervisor but she never called me back. The following day I called and talked to her again at which time she told me that the tech was supposed to have called me, (IF AT ANY TIME HE OR SHE HAD DONE THEIR JOB I WOULD NOT STILL BE CALLING) and she would call him and call me back. You guessed it she never called me back! I called about 5 hours later and did not receive a call back that day. It is unbelievable that you would treat anyone with such disregard. As of a month from the time Goettl did the quote I have yet to receive it. I did get a verbal (which does no good with the insurance company) and it is almost double the quote from CRANE (they were a total delight to deal with and I had my quote in a few days with no issue. They faxed it right over). I was also told by the Goettl tech that since they know I am dealing with an insurance company, they are charging $3000 or $4000 more. Pretty sure that's not legal. The whole experience was unreal.
