  • Back on Feb. 15, 2018 my husband and I brought in both our vehicles for maintenance and tires for my husband's car. We came in with intentions of having flushes and oil change done on my car, to later find out I needed a filter and had a leak in my coolant hose { was told we don't have the part to replace today and it doesn't "look" too bad can most likely wait until next oil change}. My husband was getting all four of his tires replaced on his Durango and was also given news that his shocks needed replaced. The news not what we want of course but were told that we would be out in a few hours. We wanted safe vehicles and waited. The first issue was when my journey needed a filter we were asked to wait longer due to the filter being delivered, my husband had to be at work at 10am. Mike and Terrance both assured us it would be there by 930am. It was there at 1015 my husband was late for work. When my husband left Mike came over to me and said I have bad news, I said what now. He told me that the filter that we thought we were waiting for and the car that my husband just drove to work was not correct that I still would have to bring that car back to get the correct filter, he gave us two free oil changes for this mix up but I felt that was sort of shady letting my husband drive away after waiting and then being late for work to be under the impression that car was all finished. at this point its 11am. Mind you I have been here since 645am. Our last car was done at 525pm !!!!! I was literally here all day !!! When I go to get in my husbands car they put his spare rim on the back tire with no hubcap, looked super tacky. I asked them why. They said that the rims were different and this is what should be on there. I was like thats funny cause all the hubcap rims were on the car just fine when we got here. I think I upset them because i asked them to put the spare back on the actual spare tire rim and put my right rim back on. They even tried to shove the extra hubcap on the spare tire rim and actually cracked our hubcap during the process and then proceeded to say it was like that. So after spending close to 1650.00 I felt like we were treated very poorly.... Then almost a month later guess what happens ? That hose we were told not to worry about until next oil change ... it totally broke and all my coolant spilled out on the 101 freeway on my way to school from work. I was stuck on Indian school and 101. So I call and ask to speak to manager on duty which was Terrance and told him what has happen and what was the number for the roadside assistance so I could get a tow to the shop. he gave me 3 different numbers to tow companies and tells me that the warranty will over cover up to 75 of the tow and if the repair is not Big O fault I would be responsible for the rest over 75. I should of went with my gut and went to my father's mechanic shop that was within 5 miles of my breakdown, but Terrance made me feel that he would take care of me and I would be in good hands. So after the tow it was 110 dollars. we get to the shop Terrance writes the tow company a check for 110. then prints out a letter wanting me to sign. it says now 150 for the tow !!! and 69.99 for a coolant check !!!! ummmmm wait first now your going to try to up charge another companies service provided to me after i sat in the sun on freeway for almost 2 hours waiting, then going to charge me 70 just to check out what the issue is when we both clearly know what the issue is. I one asked about the warranty he said I need to call the warranty center, i said when i called you over 2 hours ago I asked for that number and you gave me tow numbers and said I was covered up to 75 and then anything over if not your fault for repair I would pay the difference he then goes on a salesman rant about how big o has to make a profit off the tow since he wrote a check and they cant look at anything without a fee. I was basically bullied and had no other options at this point since my car was unable to drive in its condition. I was forced to allow Big O to do the repairs. Terrance did put some discounts on the bill but 630 later for a hose that could of been repaired 3 weeks earlier and could of avoided this was not very fair in my eyes nor my husbands. I now have free oil changes for the inconvenience but never a apology and honestly I won't be back because the lack of customer service or genuine concern I just can't bring my self to ever see Terrance nor Mike again.
