We have stayed at the Texas Station in the past and it's a decent hotel for the price but last week we had a booking issue that prevents me from returning. We were called on our arrival day and told that the 4 rooms we booked were not available and that we had been moved to a sister hotel 20 miles away. We accepted the situation but we had two nights and did not want to have to move between hotels. Hotel reservations at the Texas Station told us that we would need to speak with the manager Amalia Armen to get our prepaid room transferred to the sister hotel - but that she was in a meeting and could not talk with us at the time. We left a message but never got a return phone call. The sister hotel even tried to handle this for us but Amalia's solution was to dodge the conversation. Not the kind of "hospitality" I'm looking for when I stay at a hotel.
