They lost a new client before we even made it to our appointment! I had asked for them to call our provider so that we could find out how much out-of-pocket we were going to need to pay when we visited the dentist. The receptionist set the appointment but when she called for benefits she stated that we were supposed to reference a booklet. I then called the provider myself and they said that if the receptionist needed to provide the billing codes to them they could have given a price quote right then and there for her. I called the dentist back at 5:33 PM and was told that since the girl was getting ready to leave for the day that she could not obtain that information for me. She then asked for me to call them back the next day when I had already been speaking with the receptionist since 1 in the afternoon. I am not sure why I had to explain common provider questions to the receptionist. The dentist office never called me the next day to discuss out-of-pocket expenses. Their voicemail box says that they open on Thursdays at 8:30 AM. I called four times from 830 to 8:45 AM on a Thursday morning and nobody answered. They ended up calling us around 10 AM as they clearly did not review their messages. They managed to lose a customer before we even walked through the door! Horrible customer service!
