Of all the gin joints in all the world, I HAD to walk into this one. I had heard the hype and been urged by my fellow booze hounds that I must try this place's wares. "It's expensive, but it's totally worth it," is what everyone said. They were right on both accounts. This is the perfect venue for a night out if you want something different and feel like getting dressed to the nines. If you like shooting Black Velvet and $2 Miller Lites, this place is not for you. If you're like me, and you think well-made Manhattan is close to Godliness, then the Tango Manhattan is what you need. For mixing, they use house made bitters and red wine reduction. It's the greatest Manhattan known to me. You can sit and listen to jazz in a luxurious atmosphere that makes you feel as cozy as the booze. They even have a discrete party room in the back where you and 20 of your close friends could really have a good time. I didn't try the food, but the menu definitely piqued my interest. Think this place is great, can't wait to go back.
