| - Well - I really wasn't planning on being in Cleveland. I'd actually paid Delta to bring me to Akron, but due to a crazy weather front moving through the MidWest, they were able to offer me a flight from NY to Detroit, and then deposited me in Cleveland. Knowing absolutely nothing about this place, I looked at options on how to get myself to Akron. At 10PM, there are really not all that many.
Then, I remembered that I could one-way a car from National. For less than the cost of a taxi, I snapped up a rental car and drove the 60 miles that Delta couldn't fly. Walking onto the Executive Aisle, they mainly had SUV/crossovers, and given the nasty weather out that sounded like a good deal so I grabbed an Equinox with under 3k on the ODO.
Staff were extremely helpful in the Aisle, and when they heard my plight offered tips for which roads might be better to get me on my way. I'm not sure when my travel is going to take me back to Cleveland, but I do know I'll be using National to get around when I'm here next.
