  • When we're in Las Vegas, Rise & Shine - A Steak & Egg Place is my favorite spot to have breakfast!! It is located quite a distance from the Strip, but it is so worth the drive!! The staff is wonderful, efficient, helpful, and friendly with everyone dressed in their pajamas. The interior looks lovely, and what really stands out is all the colorful umbrellas hanging from the ceiling. The food that I have tried here has been absolutely positively delicious!! By no means, am I an expert on all their many menu options here. There are only two meals that I have ever tried here, and I cannot get myself to try some other items. Crispy Fried Chicken Breast Atop a Waffle is amazing! The Belgian waffle with the warm cinnamon maple syrup is really good. The chicken breast that sits on top of that waffle is even better cause it is so tender, moist, and full of flavor!! Wow!! Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Pancakes are the BOMB!!! If you are a sweet tooth like myself, then order this decadent treat!! It will be like a party in your mouth!! The combination of the white and milk chocolate chips with the warm cream cheese syrup on top of those fluffy Red Velvet pancakes is like a very very sweet taste of heaven!!! I can never finish this meal in one sitting because it is so overwhelmingly rich and SWEET!! Fortunately, the leftovers are almost as good the next day!! Seriously, get ready for an awesome sugar overload!! Maybe one day, I will venture to try something else on their menu. I hear their Steak & eggs are pretty darn incredible as well. For now, I look forward to my next trip to Sin City so I can get my fill of Rise & Shine's yummy goodness!!
