The smell of fresh bread and pastries hits you on the sidewalk as soon as someone opens the door. The almond croissant blew me away. Warm and flaky, crispy outside, soft, chewy inside. How do they do it?? We actually came back an hour later for more. Also tried a slice of spinach & cheese quiche, which was okay. Small place, few seats. You can watch the bakers in action in the back kitchen. Mmmm.
