| - I'm pretty new to Phoenix, and just moved downtown, so I really didn't have much to go on in terms of deciding which 5-star salon to try, so I went with availability and ambience. Making a reservation was a breeze. I had only specified that I needed to be done at the latest 6PM, so they gave me a slot that worked perfectly with what I needed done - and I feel like they made sure to match my needs with the perfect stylist!
If you're looking for refreshed layers, gentle but effective lightening (I'm a natural ebony turned blonde!), and a beautifully meticulous balayage and/or ombre mane, ask for Allyson. Friendly but professional vibe, great conversation slash psychotherapy, and I never felt like I was waiting too long in my chair. I'll be updating this review with my fleeked out hair once she posts my Before/After shots!
Oh, and the place is awesome. Right in front of the light rail station, super accessible, warm brick walls and exposed metal and concrete, and decked in funky art pieces. They told me I'd be done by 3:30, and I was out the door by 3:28. I think I've found my Phoenix go-to!
