Saturday night I had the pleasure to dine at Tomaso's with some friends. I hadn't been there in years as we live in Chandler and don't often venture that far. It was worth the drive. The restaurant reminds me of old Hollywood- kind of glamorous and classy. The waiters are dressed in crisp white shirts with ties. Our waiter was very Italian and very gracious. Nicely set tables, great ambiance, and great art on the walls. We ordered several different things and please forgive my spelling of some of these dishes. If you look at their menu you'll be able to figure it out. I had the lobster bisque, 2 had the minestrone soup and one had a beautiful salad- all were excellent. The Asso bucco (sp?), eggplant Parmesan and lasagne were all first rate. I had a noodle dish with prosciutto that was fabulous. We had tiramisu and a nonna cake thing that were amazing- especially the tiramisu. A little spendy- probably someplace for celebrations- but great value, service and food.
