I work fairly close to here and decided to stop by to pick up a few pastries on a Saturday morning just before noon. While I'm not a fan of finding a parking spot here, I am however a fan of their buns!! Picked up a few buns for my coworkers and I: BBQ pork bun, bo lo bau, tuna bun and 2 tiramisu slices. Their bun turnover in the weekend is crazy! A tray of buns can be gone within 5 mins and a refreshed tray comes out very shortly. The buns here are around 30-50 cents more expensive than other Chinese bakeries around but once in a while, you gotta treat yourself! (Maybe that's just my motto *sheepish laugh*)
I will say that the buns are tasty, and the flaky buttery topping on the pineapple bun is very sinful. I was too taken aback by the buns that I simply didn't put any egg tarts on my tray...will be back and do an updated review as a good Chinese bakery has to have good egg tarts
They do take debit & cash...the line to pay was almost to the wall and a see lai tried to bud so make sure you're paying attention.
6 buns and 2 tiramisu slices set me back $16.50..milk tea and other drinks are closer to the $2.50 mark.
