There are not many timeshares in the Phoenix area. We were spending three weeks in the Valley and this property was available through RCI.
Check-in at the front desk was typical. Heather was cheerful but said our room was not ready
and please leave our cell #. I asked her to check with housekeeping and Voila! our room was ready.
Our next visit was to "the Concierge" but really they are tasked with Setting Appointments for "the 90-minute presentation". There are three ladies here and they will pitch you all the deals to get you to agree to an appointment. Not one of their deals was worth the risk of a prolonged
sales pitch with duress. Bluegreen has a long reputation for high pressure and little availability.
The units are a series of four-story buildings in a mega-complex that appeared in this desert
area of N. Peoria long before civilization did.
The SW style buildings are situated around the pool.
The soundproofing of the floors is less than ideal. We had a family with young kids check-in on the floor above us and they were so noisy I called the front desk. Hotel security was able to quiet them down but they started in at 6 AM and went all day. I spoke with Shawn the front desk manager and he wasn't able to shut them down. I emailed Bluegreen corporate but they could not do anything. It turns out that the GM here left the company and four days later a replacement showed up. Lane is the new GM and she did a great job trying to make up for our inconvenience.
This is not a property that I would recommend because it's a timeshare sales hotspot.
Even after I declined their offers and expressed no interest they were calling me for an appointment.
