| - For the business traveler, this hotel has got everything you need.
The location is central and convenient, and the rooms (albeit small) are clean and modern. In-room wifi was complimentary, there's a mini-fridge, a Keurig coffee machine and a big, comfy bed for me to sleep soundly each night.
If I were here for leisure, I would have probably not loved my views of adjacent office cubicles and parking decks, or the scratchy towels to dry off after my showers. I also had to call to request a do not disturb sign and am unsure if this is standard, but I didn't have any details about the nearby food and options from Evangeline or their other property. In fact, I couldn't really find anything in my room for any additional information.
What I think was probably the biggest opportunity lost was that upon check-in I was never familiarized with the property at all. I was not told about the workout facility, check-out time, wi-fi, the roof deck or even the hours of the bar. I pretty much was just told how to use my electronic key in the elevator. I'm not sure if maybe this was just a one off, but definitely felt like the hospitality piece was a little blasé.
Overall, my stay was a-ok and found this hotel to be a great price point for value.
