| - I recently attended a dinner meeting here for approximately 50 individuals. It was held on the 2nd floor of the Hilton Hotel, where the room for dinner was separate from the meeting room. Unfortunately, the room set aside for the dinner could not accommodate the capacity of the guests, and many of our colleagues had to eat their dinner elsewhere.
The food presented was buffet-style, and included a lentil-salad, mixed greens with mushrooms, cold cuts, and a potato salad, served with a vinaigrette. Additional buffet options included a cheese platter, potato salad, mixed beans and carrots, mashed potatoes, korean noodles, chicken au jus and salmon in cream sauce. The desserts were a fruit flan with an assortment of berries, and a black forest cake. The beverages were 'self serve' and included an assortment of teas, coffee and bottled beverages.
Overall, in terms of the quality of the food, I wish I had not eaten any of it. I did limit myself to the salad, chicken, salmon and berries; however, the food was bland, and the presentation unappetizing. My colleagues who tried the remainder of the food were also unimpressed in general, especially in regards to the quality of the food.
The service was just 'adequate' but not particularly attentive or polite. As it was a buffet, with most things, including beverages being 'self-serve' there were only 2 servers who were mainly there to clear plates.
Overall, I would not recommend this venue for a business meeting as there are many other places in the nearby area that would more than accommodate and appreciate the business.
