The York Farmers' Market is in need of a serious update, but it still has charm and I found some great stuff. It's basically a bunch of vendors with permanent indoor stands. It's a mix of organic and conventional food. If it were my place I would say goodbye to the vendors selling crochet wash cloths and bring in more freshly prepared food (like soups and salads) and hot drinks. Could be a great place to go for lunch and leave with groceries and snacks for the weekend.
We bought bacon, sourdough bread, cinnamon buns, broccoli, dried mango, and a liter of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice from various vendors. All have been delicious and fresh.
