| - My family and I have been working to get together for brunch on Sundays so we can all catch up. This past Sunday we decided to go to FEZ for some yummy food, a brunch cocktail and to check out thier patio.
This location is much larger than the previous FEZ location and was not very crowded at all. We did get there very early, probably 10/ 1030ish on a Sunday. We decided to go sit out on the patio to enjoy the weather. The patio is nice and was clean. The only part that was a little odd were some random people out on the street that wanted to gawk at us while we ate. We ended up moving away from the seating along the edge (not due to the random people outside, but the sun) and that seemed to fix the situation.
The wait staff was GREAT! The offered to move us because they noticed my mom was not comfortabe in the sun. Also, my daughter stained my dress with some fruit and the waiter brought me some club soda so it would not set (and it did not), so I am very grateful of his thoughtfulness.
The food did not disappoint. I had a mimosa an it was delish, cold, not too much OJ and the OJ was slightly pulpy and sweet..PERFECT! I had the small fruit and cheese board that came with a fresh moz, creamy brie and a fantastic savory and sharp goat cheese. There was also toasted herb kisra, however I will likely ask for toasted baguette next time instead, grapes, green apples, strawberries and the most amazing garbazos! The chickpeas tasted like they had been flash fried and then well seasoned with salt, pepper, chili powder and maybe some paprika. They were crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle--very addictive!
The rest of the crew enjoyed the coffee very much and had pancakes (looked ok, but not impressive), eggs (which my daughter, shes one and a half and LOVED the eggs, she literally clapped when we gave her a seconf helping) they looked fluffy and were obviously seasoned with salt and pepper, ham, bacon, potatoes and yummy toasted baguette with olive oil.
We were all happy with our food and will be back! Check them out!
Brunch time! Specials $4 mimosas or $15 for a bottle plus OJ. Yum!
