I heard supper clubs in WI still hold a special place in the culinary scene so my boyfriend and I decided to come here for their Friday fish fry and some cheese curds.
Decor: a bit dated or old fashioned but still inviting and cozy. We sat down at a table by the window which was nice.
Food: my boyfriend had the bottomless fish fry and I had the baked cod. He said the fish fry was mediocre and the batter was a bit too thick for his liking. My baked cod was kind of bland but still very tender. There's generous amount of coleslaw, tartar sauce and sour cream on the table to accompany your food. The cheese curds were not the best we've had. Again too much batter and they were not squeaky.
We weren't particularly impressed by the average food here. However, our sweet waitress delivered excellent service. It's unlikely that we'll eat here again since there're better options for fish fry close by.
