  • This place is all about the money! I've been using this shop on and off for about 10 years now. Today, I ran into a problem where one of their employees broke the bead on my $300 Perelli PZero tire, rendering the tire useless. I know quite a lot about cars, and tires, and so on and so forth. These guys are probably used to ripping off old ladies and women so if you are either of those avoid the shop! Here's my story: I got a flat tire on my Mercedes SL55 AMG at about 2:30 AM. This shop is pretty much the only shop around at such a time. What started as a simple screw in the center of my tire, turned into these guys unnecessarily replacing a valve stem and destroying the bead on my tire. If you don't know what the bead is, it's the inside of your tire that hugs against the rim and keeps the air in. When this is compromised the air will leak slowly, or in my case where they completely destroyed it, very quickly. So not only did I have to tow my car here originally, but I also had to tow my car back again when their fix didn't work. My second time back is when they decided to try fixing the valve stem. But within hours of returning home my tire went flat once again. I decided to dismount the wheel from my car and bring it into their shop separately as towing costs were beginning to get expensive. On my third and final visit to Busy Bee I immediately asked for the manager who only tried to help me until he realized that someone in the shop screwed my tire up. They tried charging me $15 just to dismount my tire so I can prove to them that they screwed up my bead. They tried to show me the bead without actually taking the tire off which all us grease monkeys know is useless. The manager blatantly lied to my face and showed me some scratches on my rim stating that I would need to replace my $1250 Asanti rim, yeah right. I let them know that I never had a problem with the tire aside from a simple screw in the middle of it and that if there was anything wrong with the room that it was their responsibility, including if there was anything further wrong with the tire. I told them that they will be paying for my tire and even offered to pay for 30% of it considering that there was some light treadwear. The Manager begrudgingly admitted fault and yet tried to pull a fast one on me. He still tried to charge me for the tire and claimed that the price of the tire was $330, when it's actually priced lower than that. He tried to tell me he would give me $100 off of the tire and only charge me $230 total. I told him that I would pay $90 towards the tire and whatever the remainder is would be for Busy Bee tire repair to pay. Towards the end, the manager rejected my offer and told me to beat it. I was very reasonable the entire time I was speaking with him and his staff and simply continued to push my point that I was right about them ruining my tire. Even after admitting fault, the manager of Busy Bee tire shop was unwilling to pay for damages that were caused to my very expensive Perrelli PZero tire. Unfortunately I was forced to go as far as telling them that if they did not replace my tire that I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau of Nevada as well as the Nevada attorney general and filing formal complaints, which I will be subsequently doing. The manager did not care and walked away. If I were you I would walk away as well.
