A friend of mine said I should check out Bon A-Pet-Treat for a change. I live right near by and had never stopped to go in.
The store is small and crowded. The girl at the counter greeted me and asked if I needed help finding anything. I just told her I was just browsing. They carry a nice stock of bones and dried treats, including my favorite deer antlers! There is a small assortment of toys, priced as any other pet store. There is a nice selection of martingale collars, each about $30. I wanted to check out the baked treats, but there wasn't much of a selection, half the counter was empty. The peanut butter treats were so small and at 75 cents each seemed a bit silly. I did grab a couple buffalo ostrich jerkys, for $1 each, they were only a couple inches long. They also carry raw food and only a couple brands of dry food.
I wasn't all to impressed with Bon A-Pet-Treat, I have been to better pet bakeries in the city. I would pop in again to get other treats, but for anything else I would go elsewhere.
