  • It was my first time to Gertrude's and I was very excited to try the food and experience the botanical garden. When I arrived, we were told they could seat us right away but we had to give up our table in an hour. I've never been to any restaurant where I have been told I had to give up my table. After they sat us, it took them over 10 minutes to offer us drinks and they were not that busy at this point. I am in my 20's and it is clear we were given a different level of service. The food was great but I was so turned off by the service that I don't plan on returning.
