Glazier's is good but there's room for improvement.
The good: Employees are generally sharp and helpful. There's a better buzz in the air than what you'll find at a typical chain store. Good prices on produce, and usually a great sale item or two.
The bad: You have to remove your backpack when you enter (unless you're lucky enough to draw a security guard who doesn't notice). I don't know if it's the best loss prevention technique, because it sort of just admits that someone with a backpack could do a lot of damage. I'd prefer Glazier's take a more holistic approach and step up their camera game, or whatever tactic it may be, and allow us honest denizens to maintain possession of our personal items while we shop.
Typically I'll shop across the street at the major corporate conglomerate and just go to Glazier's when there's a particular item I need. I'd pick Glazier's every time if it wasn't for the backpack thing.
Four stars, could've been three.
