  • This is hands down FOR SURE the most disgusting 4 star hotel I've ever been in. In fact I can only think of two grosser hotels I've ever stayed at in my entire life, and they were both Motel 6s I had to get during layovers. This place is soon SO gross. I have NO idea how they have a 4 star rating, I'm SURE the hyatt and Marriott are cleaner. When I walked into my room I was met with a strong stench of mildew. The carpet has clearly not been cleaned since it was installed. The curtains are ripped. That's SUCH an easy fix, it just shows they don't care. Fading on all the couch cushions. I was so disgusted by everything I put towels down on the floor so that my feet wouldn't have to touch the carpet. tiny bathrooms with the molding falling from the showers. Tiniest bathroom. The cable cuts in and out. Seriously. I asked to switch rooms (because of the mildew, not the cable) and in my second "upgraded" room, same smell and same cable issues. I don't know what's going on at this hotel......but omg. SO gross. I got this place on Princeline. Next time I am in Charlotte I will pay the extra face value for the Hilton or the Hyatt (which is 3 star) JUST to be sure I don't have to stay in this nasty place EVER again. Spare yourself, make SURE you get the Hilton if you do a 4 star, or just go for a 3 star.
