  • Very disappointed with my past 2 visits to AMC Esplanade. I'm new to Phoenix and looking for a good place to see movies several times a month. The waiter did not bring my check to my seat and asked me to follow him to the lobby to process my check. Then on receiving my check, he charged me for food I didn't order. Then sent another waiter out of the kitchen for the correct bill. In the confusion between several waiters, my credit card was lost. After an unhelpful conversation with management my card was not found or returned. Another visit, the armrest on my seat was broken, no padding, just a hard metal bar between the seats. Even though this is the closest theater to me, I will not be returning and will gladly drive further for a better movie viewing experience.
