I got in around 2pm to check in and my room wasn't ready. A little disappointed as I wanted to shave and freshen up as about 200 of my clients were here. I had a few things to do so I did them and checked back an hour later and still not Ready. I left and went into town to grab some things I needed and called while I was out to check on the status and the phone rang about 20 times and no one answered. I was very upset by now and it was after 5pm now. I went to the front desk and asked the 3 employees if I could speak with the manage. The manager came out and asked "how can I help you?" I asked is the state of AZ a little different when it comes to check out times? She said our check out is noon. Then I said ok, can you tell me why it's taking 5 hours for my room to be ready? Then the excuses started to flow, we are really busy, we have a lot of guests checking in today, etc ect... there was also a man behind me and he said he's speaking for me as well, he was also very upset. I cut her off as she was poring on the excuses and said I really don't care how many people are checking in. That's not my problem and my room was booked ahead of time so you were expecting me. The manager said oh, your room is ready now. I said I have higher expectations for $299.99 per night and that I now know why the yelp reviews are a 3.1 Of 5 She never said sorry nor did she even offer me anything as a sorry for the trouble. Nothing.... I feel valued. The place is beautiful but I've had better service at a motel 6.
