| - I've stayed here twice in the past month, and it is not bad. I usually stay at the Hilton Chandler, but it has been booked up lately. This Homewood Suites is not nearly as nice as the Hilton, and normally priced about the same. Both rooms I stayed in were worn, with filthy/frayed couches, carpet stains, and bathrooms in bad need of new fixtures and grout/caulk. The bed is not comfortable, and the sheets are not soft. I will say the room was pretty clean other than the worn areas. The other thing I don't like is the maze to get back to the elevator and find your room. The hotel feels cramped from lobby to room. The front desk staff is very friendly and professional and the nightly beer/wine/dinner is a nice touch. Breakfast is typical free hotel fair, nothing special, but good luck finding a table in the morning rush. If you really need the space of a suite, Homewood is a decent choice. But if it is just you, there are nicer hotels in the area for similar prices.
