  • Moved from Charlotte and came back to visit my favorite restaurant while in town and was completely disappointed on how the service and food have completely declined. They were out of orange juice during breakfast/brunch time and we were given plastic cups for our beverages because there were no available glasses although all of the neighboring tables have glasses. After we ordered we waited almost an 40 min for our food. Order two fried green tomatoes for our table and it came out 7 minutes apart. The server seemed like she was NOT trained in restaurant dinning as she expressed to us (the customers) serval times her frustrations in the challenges of working at Terrace. We should not be told that the additional requested napkins are too far away and will get to it, there are no clean glasses because servers have broken a lot of them and "I'm just trying y'all". The food was mediocre and not like it once was. My recommendation to my once beloved restaurant, complete additional training in dinning to all of your staff specifically around customer service during peak time and revamp your chefs' culinary skills. I will not be returning when I'm back in Charlotte.
