I have been to King's a few times in the past. Every time I go here I am never disappointed. My colleagues were very impressed with their first time here so, after that experience, I had to write a review.
I took my colleagues to lunch at King's and I went against my normal order of Ahi and went for another type of Tuna. Albacore. I had the "World Class" Tuna Melt and the Oysters Rock. Everyone knows that I make the best tuna melt on this planet but I would have to say that King's makes the second best, bar none :) The bread was perfectly toasted and very hot when it arrived. The Tuna was the perfect temperature and it was served with a smile. The Oysters were fresh and the tasty. The rest of my party had some sushi rolls, Salmon cakes, Swordfish, and the jumbo white shrimp. They all devoured their meals, like I did.
Service was fantastic. We had a party of six and we started at the bar. We ordered the food and had a drink but then we decided to move to a table to be more comfortable. I noticed it was busy and I felt a little bad for asking the bartender to move us but it didn't even phase her. I could tell she was busy but she didn't once flinch like it was a big deal. In fact she kept going above and beyond. Her sharp attentiveness to our table aside, she served all of our food without "auctioning" the food at the table, which I can't stand. Remember I told you we moved to a table after ordering from the bar and the fact that she was busy to begin with. Trust me when I tell you that this is no easy feat. Most people wouldn't even notice this type of service; It's called "seamless service". Drinks were always full and the table was maintained very neatly. I was impressed.
I've always been a fan of King's but this experience changed me to an advocate.
