  • Made by Marcus is a pretty cool little ice cream shop in downtown Calgary with lots of creative creations to satisfy your palate. I have tried the breakfast of champions and happy camper sundaes and both were pretty tasty. However, I have found the staff here to be unfriendly, and the bathroom is such a mess - really unhygienic. It literally looks like they haven't cleaned the toilet since they opened up shop. While this ice cream shop puts a lot of effort into serving up instagram-worthy desserts, they ignore the small but important details of customer service and cleanliness. I would recommend Village Ice Cream over this ice cream shop. I think Made by Marcus gets too much hype where it is undeserved. I can't see this shop lasting longer than a year or two.
