  • Normally, all Starbucks are in the 4 star range. Why? Because it's a decent cup of coffee, with pretty fast service. Not the best in the world, but they generally do a good job. This one is just an OK one, and there are many reasons why. So, this Starbucks is the quick service one inside of the Albertson's on Maryland Pkwy. It's one of the older Starbucks inside of a supermarket. The newer ones are located in a Von's, and those have little lounges where you can sit in, and it's sort of like a mini-Starbucks. The Starbucks here doesn't have that. They have some high school cafeteria-style seating around the corner, most likely, it looks like it is a part of Albertsons, and Starbucks. This Starbucks also does not carry a lot of the items a full service Starbucks will carry. Like cold brew. If you're craving that cold brew, then you are SOL. And, they don't have as many baked items or sandwiches that a full service one will have. The only time I'm in an Albersons is when I get a craving for their fried chicken. It's actually pretty good. I think it's like 3.99 for 4 pieces. I think Albersons got voted 'best fried chicken for a supermarket chain' in some online poll. And, I will get a coffee or latte if I feel like i'm too lazy to go to the full service Starbucks that is right across the street. But, the people are nice here and they brew a pretty good coffee, so i'm giving it 3 stars. It might be pretty gross to drink coffee while eating fried chicken, but I really don't care. I don't need permission, make my own decisions, that's my prerogative.
