| - CSN is disorganized and outdated. The only two things I like about this school are the instructors, who seem to show enough empathy and compassion towards their students' success, and the cost of tuition; hence, three stars. Financial Aid as well as the Office of the Registrar could use some improvement. It seems like most of them in general do not know what they are doing; as a result, they keep tossing you around in different directions. Different staff members tell you different things and each one person tells you one thing at a time regarding what you need; they have you running around in circles and leave you confused. I envy those who have had good experience with these people and, believe me, I have room for improvement if I know what I can do to make my future encounter with them a smooth one besides being respectful, polite, and courteous, which I am certain that I am. It took me two semesters to finally receive financial aid after being misinformed over and over by the Financial Aid Call Center, which is such a joke. Currently, I am dealing with residency after being back and forth a couple times. One of the two Office of the Registrar staff members I had encountered with regarding my residency application appeared to be stuck-up and cold; talking to her made me feel unwelcome. This is a college and we are adults, I get it. I do not expect any of them to offer me a cup of tea, hold my hand, sing me love songs, walk me on the red carpet, or anything like that, but I found this individual's condescending tone of voice and attitude unnecessary while I think that their services could have been better because CSN is not a bad school at all.
