I took a meeting with the fishes on a weekday in May. The kids are still in school and there are no Jays home games happening. In terms of getting the best possible experience out of visiting this joint, I feel like I won. I dominated. I owned this aquarium.
The moving floor tunnel under the sharks, rays and other magical sea-life is truly magnificent. I filled up my iPhone storage snapping pictures at every turn, and was constantly in awe. After the fact, as is the case in many animals in captivity situations, I do feel a little bit of guilt. I probably won't return, but I really did enjoy the ocean ride while there. Aside from the glass tunnel exhibit, my favourite part was watching the feeding of the rays. Their bottoms look like smiling old men as they get fed, and it's just so darn cute.
The whole experience was $30 per adult, which is pricy, but if you have kiddos I can see becoming a member. So much stunning stuff at which to stare!
