| - I went to this Jamba Juice for the first time on my flight home from Vegas. I've never received such horrible service in my life. I ordered a strawberry juice refresher (which is fresh squeezed apple juice, fresh cut strawberries, and lemon) and the cashier looked at me while rolling her eyes and said "yeahhhhh I can't do that it's a seasonal drink and I don't even know what does in it". I responded with a kind "oh! No problem I work for the company I can tell ya exactly what goes in it.....:)" She then responds with "yeah I tried like last week and I just can't, also my supervisor isn't here so I can't make that".
This sparked a few questions in my head...
1. Why isn't there a supervisor at the store? That doesn't sound very smart or safe.
2. Why does your supervisor need to be there for you to make a smoothie? If you studied up on your smoothies like you are required to do, than you should know that recipe by heart, or at least have it posted in the store somewhere.
After those thoughts went through my brain some other random girl (in a team member t shirt) walks up to the counter and AGGRESSIVELY says to me "WE CANNOT make that drink, we CANT make any drinks that are not on our menu, you can write a review if you'd like".
Okay...okay so I've got a few more questions...
1. Why so angry ?
2. I work for the company, and guests should ALWAYS be put first. At the store I work at, we work to do whatever it takes to make the guest happy. If this is a rule with this specific Jamba Juice, than so be it, but she should have than recommended me another drink that is similar to what I ordered. She just gave off the vibe that she wanted me OUT of the store.
3. Thanks for the advice, I will write a review.
Oh you THOUGHT it ended there...no no no there's more.
I payed attention as my drink was being made, and because I order a fresh squeezed juice (tropical greens), I expected them to squeeze me some fresh apple juice, instead the young man who made the drink decided to make my 8 DOLLAR DRINK WITH APPLE JUICE CONCENTRATE. I asked very kindly at the register for my drink to be poured over lots of ice, and in a large cup. This was clearly not communicated to the team. I understand that sometimes it gets busy and things are forgotten to be communicated, so I let this slide and just kindly asked again for the drink to be poured over ice in a LARGE cup. As I'm asking this, the young man cuts me off and say "yup, over ice" and I said "thanks could I get it in a large cup filled with ice" he then proceeded to fill a medium cup with the contents of the 16oz cup, adds no extra ice, and slams the cup down on the counter so hard the juice splashed everywhere and stains my white shirt.
Just an interesting experience. This store failed harder at ACTing guest first than I've ever seen before.
