  • My wife and I have purchased appliances at Taco for years and the experience has generally been satisfactory, particularly when equipping kitchens and bathrooms in connection with four major renovations. In the most recent instance, I called the salesperson with whom we have worked a number of times indicating that we wanted to purchase a washer and dryer. I gave up and went to Caplan's after he made one attempt to return five voice messages and one e-mail message. The bottom line appears to be that Tasco is not interested in anything other than orders for multiple appliances. My experience at Caplan's was excellent and, of course, I would not shop at Tasco again.
