  • I like beer. I don't like star ratings. I'm not sure Masthead is a 4 Star place, but I hesitate to give it a 3. Tough call as it has several things to like. Their beer is darn good. If this is what matters to you most, then belly up. They have an interesting mix of styles and, importantly, several good beers. A mixture of IPAs and some delicious stouts. Worth a try for the beer mavens. Pizza fans should be happy with the pizza oven and suggested pizzas. Sopressatta pizza? Yes and thanks. Service has been uniformly excellent for a belly-up-to-be-served place. Each staff member has been friendly and talkative to me. All good. I've talked myself into a solid 4 stars. Go drink and be merry.
